Roasters' Note:
We purchased this coffee specifically for short espresso & milk based beverages.
Background:
This coffee is called a “micro-regional” lot. This is a term Cedro Alto uses to describe their program to give farmers more money for their non-micro lot coffee. It's a blend made up of Cedro Alto member coffees that is specialty grade but not chosen to be separated and sold a micro lot. While it lacks the clarity of the usual single varietal microlot coffees it's still very tasty and enjoyable as a milk based coffee and full bodied and complex as a short espresso.
